a compulsory spring-term ILA reading course for freshmen at MIC

Get started now!

This content of this course is offered in tandem with a real-time, spring-semester class at MIC, and is not ideal for learners who are not studying at the institution. Materials are only available when the course is in session, and some content is only revealed in stages.

This MIC freshman course focuses on developing basic EFL reading skills. On this platform, you will be able to access materials related to the intensive readings (IR) of the course, including audio, comprehension and vocabulary building worksheets.

Other materials not included here are timed readings (TR) and associated comprehension questions (text provided in class), and work you will do on three separate online systems - one for extensive reading (ER), one for short reading practice, and one for vocabulary development (links provided after you enroll).
